GALA of HEROES
 

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, WISH for OUR HEROES (W4OH), will host its' tenth-annual Whiskey & Wishes Heroes Gala, to celebrate the organization's 15-Year Anniversary.  That's right, 15 years' of assisting military families struggling with basic needs.  Since November 1, 2009, WISH for OUR HEROES has provided more than $40 Million in assistance for more than 45,000 military families.  None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our donors and supporters.

The Heroes Gala has become one of the most popular and exclusive events in Central Texas, raising more than $4 million during its first nine years, 100% of which assisted local military families struggling with hardship situations (basic needs:  food, shelter, transportation, child needs, uncovered medical expenses, etc).   We are excited to announce that the gala will be held at Pedrotti's Ranch for the eighth consecutive year.  We're very thankful to the Pedrotti family for allowing us to once again utilize their incredible facility.  Many of our favorite celebrities will be back this year to celebrate, along with a group of new celebrities.  During our first nine galas, we granted 92 wishes to surprise local military families struggling with various basic needs.  This year, we’re going to celebrate by surprising a whole new group of local military families, as we pay tribute to ALL of our American heroes while we eat, drink, and celebrate together.

Also for 2024, we will be hosting a very special VIP pre-party on Thursday, October 3rd, at the amazing Devils River Distillery in downtown San Antonio.  This exclusive event will consist of a intimate evening of food, drinks, wish-granting, and a private musical performance.  The event will be limited to the first 100 people who purchase a VIP ticket or table to the gala.  To learn more about this exclusive VIP event, click here.

At the main gala on October 5th, an incredible BBQ dinner will be included for all guests, and back by popular demand this year, all guests will receive complimentary Devils River featured beverages.

Based on your feedback from previous years, and anticipated record attendance for this year, we are pleased to offer a diverse set of ticket options:

 

Active-Duty Military – $30/individual, $50/couple (military ID will be verified upon check-in at venue).  Military Ticket includes admission for active-duty military member (and their guest, for a military couple.  Guest does not have to be active-duty military) into the gala.  Military ID will be verified at registration desk upon arrival.  Ticket includes dinner and a guaranteed seat.

 

Individual Reserved Seat (1 Ticket) - $175.  'Individual Ticket' includes admission and a reserved seat for the 2024 gala.  Food and Devil's River speciality drinks are included.

 

Couple (2 Tickets) - $300.  Couple's Ticket includes 2 reserved seats to the gala, including food and Devils River featured beverages.

Individual VIP Ticket (1 Ticket)- $250.  'Individual VIP Ticket' includes everything in 'Individual Reserved Seat' ticket above, plus one ticket to the VIP Pre-Party on October 3, 2024.

​

VIP Couple (2 Tickets) - $450. VIP Couple includes everything in 'Couple' tickets above, plus two tickets to the VIP Pre-Party on October 3, 2024.

 

Table (10 Tickets/Includes Special Commemorative Gift) - $1,800.  'Table for 10' includes 10 reserved seats at the same table.  Food and Devils River beverages are included.  Table purchase also includes a special commemorative gift.

VIP Table  - $3,000.  Includes the following:

​

• Reserved VIP Seating for 10

• 2 reserved tickets to VIP Pre-Party on October 3, 2024

• Special Commemorative Autographed Piece of Memorabilia

• Early admission (and dedicated line) prior to the general public

• Prime location in the front section of the venue

• Food and Devils River beverages

WHO:  Join local military heroes, local celebrities and WISH for OUR HEROES.  

 

WHAT:  A celebration of WISH for OUR HEROES' 15th Anniversary.  An evening of food, drink, fun, and most importantly, wishes granted for deserving military families in and around the San Antonio area.  Also, to raise funds, 100% of which will remain within the greater San Antonio area to assist local military families struggling with basic needs:  food, shelter, transportation, child needs, uncovered medical expenses, etc.

 

WHEN: Saturday, October 5, 2024 (Doors open at 6:00 PM/On-Stage activities commence at 7:00 PM)

Other types of fundraising will include raffles, fun contests, and much more!  Credit and debit cards will be accepted, along with cash and checks.
